Hypothesis Testing
We use hypothesis testing to examine an assumption.
Hypothesis Testing is like a legal trial. We assume someone is innocient unless the evidence strongly suggests that he is guilty. Similarly, we retain H0 unless there is strong evidence to reject H0.
